In her own words…

Hello person reading this,

 

My name is Elyssa Jo. I am currently fifteen and am a Freshmen in High School, and as most teenagers do, want to get out of here so badly.

 

I love to dream; dreams are basically my reality. I aspire to be the best I can be whether I'm in the kitchen, playing with the dog, on stage, or in front of the camera.

 

When I was in third grade, Dad taught me how to make scrambled eggs, it was so much fun, that I taught myself how to read a cookbook, by fifth grade, Mom got me two cookbooks, all of my own, so now, if you ask me to make something, and tell me how, I can. I even get strange urges to play with food and thirty minutes later, we have a cake to eat!

 

I was born into a family with a dog (Scratch that, adopted into the family, I can admit to sharing blood with my siblings), so I have kind of always loved animals! When we go to stay on a farm every Columbus day weekend, I always become a farmhand for the weekend, I like to think they love me there. I have even been training Kian a bunch. Dad really wants to take Kian on hikes, so I've been trying to teach him how to be off leash for a little bit. It's going really well!

 

Ever since I was little, I grew up watching theatre, I always knew I loved it. Sports just were not my thing, I kept falling and running into things, but when I became a character, so much of the clumsiness and awkwardness just goes away. I love becoming a new character, strangely enough, it has always helped me discover who I am personally.

 

Lastly, is being on camera. With my passion to act and create, you shouldn't be too surprised that I also like the camera- I mean I get to be in the spotlight and fix my slip-ups- which is what has lead me to my most current, and newest project yet. I am currently working on a web series, I am writing it, will be producing, directing, and co-starring in it, and I cannot wait to share with the world the inside of my head. (The not scary part that no one wants a part of, do not worry!)
