New England on a Pedestal
Season 1
Season 2
Wood-N-Spirits

We begin at the Start Line of the Boston Marathon in Hopkinton, Massachusetts and head east towards the city exploring various race related statues along the way.

Episode 2 Vigilance

We visit Portsmouth NH and find an interesting fire service sculpture outside of a historic firehouse. Down the road a bit, we meet Rusty, seen here.

We visited Portland Maine in this episode for the Maine Lobsterman. Listen to the podcast and find out how we learned that this isn't the only one!

We visited Newport RI to find The Wave and wound up on a scavenger hunt instead!

A photo here would give it away! You'll have to go to your favorite podcast player and listen to this episode in order to find out what or who we are talking about in Framingham, MA!

As you can surmise, in this episode, we visit a couple statues of someone you may not have realized was a New Englander. Showman, politician, shameless promoter, philanthropist.

Space, rockets, astronauts. You may think Florida's Space Coast or Houston 'control centers, but we have our own history of space exploration right here in New England!

New England has a long history with the whaling industry of days gone by. Join us as we explore several different statues related to whales and the people who sailed the oceans looking for them. So how do we find ourselves in Vermont in this episode, too?

The first of three consecutive episodes that explore local sports figures. What trip to Boston would be complete without visiting historic Fenway Park? We start there with some famous Red Sox players and move around town for a couple more Boys of Summer.

No, we haven't gone to Washington, DC. We are looking at perhaps one of the greatest basketball players to ever play on the parquet floor at the Garden.

The third sport related episode finds us outside The Garden and any hockey fan in Boston knows exactly what a statue named The Goal depicts!

This episode is exactly what you think it is! A recap of our first season with some new material thrown in for good measure.
Thank you so much for making our first season so much fun!
